Welcome to the Jenkintown Home and School Association Website!

The JHSA functions as a link between the parents of all Jenkintown School District Students and the School District. As a parent of a student, you are automatically a member of the JHSA and invited to participate in the association.

Our purpose is:
· To promote the welfare of children and youth.
· To bring into closer relation the home and the school in the educational process of the children.

· To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantage in physical, mental and social education.

The JHSA supports and sponsors educational, recreational and social programs to benefit our students, including but not limited to:

HS Honors Trip

The JHAS is governed by a Board made up of the Offices and Committee Chairs. The activities of the JHAS are carried out by its Committees (i.e volunteers like YOU!). Some committees need just one or two people, others need many more. We welcome ALL parents' involvement in the JHAS and our committees are always looking for help. Feel free to contact any committee chair to become involved.

We are a self-sustaining organization and raise funds throughout the year to support these endeavors. With everyone’s help we are successful in enhancing the educational experience of our children.
