JHAS has funding set aside for teachers and guidance staff to use to buy classroom materials that will enhance students’ educational experiences (e.g. science kits, digital camera, educational posters). Teachers may submit an application independently for materials for their own classrooms, or groups of teachers may submit an application jointly for an item that will benefit many teachers (e.g. a new computer on wheels). To request funding, please do the following:
1) Fill out the minigrant application form. Minigrant Application |Download
2) Give the form to the appropriate school principal.
If the principal approves the request, the JHAS will review the request, approve or disapprove the request, and determine the amount of funding that will be allocated. JHAS will contact you regarding our decision.
